Celtic Crosses are found in England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales either marking a grave site or dotting the landscape. According to historians the original Celtic Cross was equal armed and was contained within a sun symbol, carved in stone and lay flat upon the ground. It is thought that the Celts used this symbol to represent the four elements, the four directions or the four seasons and the circle joining them together illustrated the never ending cycles of nature and the eternal process of life death and rebirth.
All Celtic Crosses come Gift Boxed with an 18" Chain. 20" Chain available upon request.
